In addition to film and television projects, Duck on a Pond loves working with business and educational institutions on content that helps promote their brands and raise awareness for charity.
Exploring Your Universe (EYU) is one of UCLA’s biggest annual events, drawing in thousands of children, parents, and friends from the Los Angeles community. This science fair has been a tradition to provide a day of free science education to all. For ten years, EYU has provided fun, hands-on experiments and presentations to curious minds and young future scientists alike.

Karri was commissioned to create a promotional video for the annual event as well as filming the event on the day of. The shoot featured 13 elementary school children, school volunteers, professors, lots of experiments and several beautiful UCLA locations.
KATY PERRY
Katy Perry, along with Amazon, delivered REAL smiles and REAL snow to the beautiful and bright kids at the Los Angeles Boys & Girls Club of Bell Gardens.

In a crazy 24 hour period, Karri was the on-set producer for a video shoot that included capturing footage of Katy surprising the kids, reading them a story, giving them snow clothes, playing in the snow and handing out gifts.
​
Karri then took the footage and created the above video for Amazon and Katy Perry's social channels as well as a selection of B-Roll shots for broadcast. No sleep for 38 hours but it was totally worth it to be a part of such a special day!
